By downloading, installing, or using the Kitchens mobile application, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service" or "Kitchens"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy (available at kitchens-app.com/privacy-policy), and our Community Guidelines (collectively, the "Agreement"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kitchens, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use Kitchens. The materials contained in Kitchens are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, that provision shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
Who May Use the Services
You must be at least 13 years old to use Kitchens. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian's consent to these Terms, or otherwise be eligible to form a binding contract with us. Additionally:
- You are responsible for anything that occurs when anyone is signed in to your account, as well as the security of the account. Please contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
- You must be 18 years of age or older to earn payouts or participate in any creator monetization features of the platform.
By using Kitchens, you agree that:
- You are forming a binding contract with the Company and are not a person barred from receiving services under the laws of the applicable jurisdiction.
- You will comply with these Terms and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations.
- If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization or entity, you are authorized to do so and have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.
To be clear: if you are under age 13, you may not, under any circumstances or for any reason, access or use the Services.
We may, in our sole discretion, refuse to offer the Services to any person or entity and change our eligibility criteria at any time. The Services are offered only for your personal use and not for the use or benefit of any third party.
Use License
Permission is granted to download and install one copy of Kitchens per device for personal, non-commercial use only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title. Under this license you may not:
- Modify or copy the materials within the Service.
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial) without our prior written consent.
- Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble any software contained in Kitchens.
- Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.
This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by the Company at any time. Upon termination, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.
Your Account
You may need to create an account to access certain features of Kitchens. When creating your account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You will not create more than one personal account without our permission.
- You will not create an account for anyone other than yourself without authorization.
- If we disable your account, you will not create another one without our permission.
- You will not let unauthorized persons access your account or do anything else that might jeopardize the security of your account. You will promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your password or any breach of account security.
- You will not transfer your account to any person or entity without our prior written consent.
Kitchens is not liable for any loss or damage associated with your failure to protect your account credentials.
User Content
Kitchens allows users to submit, upload, and share content including recipes, photos, comments, meal plans, and other materials (collectively, "User Content"). You own all of the User Content you post on Kitchens.
By posting User Content on Kitchens, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the rights or licenses to your User Content and have all necessary rights, consents, and permissions to grant the rights set forth in these Terms.
- Your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral rights, privacy rights, or any other intellectual or proprietary right.
- Your User Content does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
User Content License
By submitting or posting User Content on Kitchens, you hereby grant to the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, host, store, copy, reproduce, publish, adapt, distribute, modify, publicly display, and create derivative works based upon such content in any and all media or distribution methods now known or later developed. This license includes the Company's ability to use this content to provide, promote, and improve the Services, and to allow other users to share and engage with your recipes and content as permitted by the functionality of the Service.
If you choose to delete your account, your publicly shared recipes that other users have saved, remixed, or shared may remain visible on the platform in connection with those users' activity. However, your personal association to that content will be removed and none of your personal information will be visible.
Prohibited Content
When submitting User Content or using the Services, you agree that you will not:
- Post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing, abusive, or hateful.
- Post content that infringes upon any third party's intellectual property rights.
- Post content that contains unlabeled allergen information or intentionally mislabeled dietary restrictions that could cause harm to other users.
- Use the Services to spam, solicit, or engage in unauthorized commercial communications.
- Use automated means (bots, crawlers, scrapers) to access or collect data from the Service without our prior written consent.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its related systems.
In-App Payments & Subscriptions
Kitchens may offer premium features, subscriptions, and in-app purchases that provide access to additional content and functionality. By signing up for a subscription or making an in-app purchase, you agree to the following:
- Kitchens uses third-party payment platforms via Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) to process subscriptions and in-app purchases. By using the Service and agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to be bound by Apple's and Google's applicable Terms of Service. All disputes regarding payments must be directed to the applicable payment platform.
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. It is solely your responsibility to manage and cancel your subscription before it renews.
- Apple and Google may send renewal reminders in accordance with their respective platform policies. You are responsible for managing your subscription through your device's platform settings prior to renewal.
- Refunds will only be given on a case-by-case basis and must be initiated through Apple or Google, as applicable. Kitchens is not responsible for payment processing.
- If we offer a free trial, users who have already redeemed a free trial are ineligible to sign up for another free trial under the same account or associated accounts.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
If you have an active Kitchens Premium subscription, you may cancel it at any time through your device platform:
- 1. Open your device's Settings app (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- 2. Select Kitchens from the list of subscriptions.
- 3. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
Kitchens uses artificial intelligence to enhance your experience on the platform. Specifically, we use AI to:
- Suggest ingredient substitutions based on your pantry, dietary preferences, and recipe context.
- Import and parse recipes from external websites and social media.
- Assist with smart recipe formatting, scaling, and editing tools.
- Personalize recipe recommendations and discovery feeds based on your activity.
- Moderate user-submitted content against our Community Guidelines.
The Company is not responsible for any content that its AI features create, display, alter, or otherwise contribute to. Some AI features may process your data through third-party AI service providers. Where required by applicable law or platform policy, you will be prompted to provide explicit consent before personal data is shared with such providers. By using any AI-powered tool within the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the use of AI in connection with that activity. AI-generated suggestions should always be reviewed by you before acting on them, particularly with respect to allergen and dietary information.
Disclaimer
The materials and content within Kitchens are provided on an "as is" basis. The Company makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
Kitchens does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of any recipes, nutritional information, dietary classifications, allergen labels, or other user-submitted content on the Service. You should always verify allergen and dietary information independently, particularly if you have a serious allergy or medical condition.
Limitations of Liability
By using Kitchens, you acknowledge and agree as follows:
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Service and your use thereof.
The Company assumes no liability or responsibility for: (1) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in this Service or any content; (2) personal injury or property damage of any nature resulting from your access to and use of the Service; (3) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (4) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service; (5) any bugs, viruses, or similar harmful code that may be transmitted through the Service by any third party; and/or (6) any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the Service.
The Company is not responsible for any mislabeled dietary restrictions, allergen information, or nutritional data that may induce issues if a user were to recreate and consume a dish based solely on content found on the platform. Kitchens is not responsible for any physical or financial injuries caused by viewing, cooking, or otherwise acting on a recipe found on the platform.
In no event shall the Company be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages whatsoever resulting from use of the Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability relating to these Terms will not exceed the greater of one hundred dollars ($100) or the amount you paid to us in the six months prior to the event giving rise to the liability.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from and against any liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to: (1) your use of the Service; (2) User Content you create or publish on Kitchens; (3) any transaction or interaction between you and another user; and/or (4) your breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of North Carolina, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
Accuracy of Materials
The materials appearing in Kitchens could include technical, typographical, dietary, or photographic errors. The Company does not warrant that any of the materials on Kitchens are accurate, complete, or current. Kitchens may make changes to the materials contained within the Service at any time without notice. The Company does not, however, make any commitment to update or correct these materials.
Advertisements
Kitchens may display advertisements and sponsored content within the mobile application and related services. These advertisements may be contextual or personalized based on your activity within the Service, such as recipes you view, save, search for, or engage with, in order to show you more relevant content. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Advertising may be provided directly by the Company or through third-party advertising partners. Kitchens does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any advertised products or services, and your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.
You may opt out of seeing advertisements at any time by upgrading to a Kitchens premium subscription.
Data Analytics & Session Replay
Kitchens uses LogRocket, a third-party session replay and analytics service, to help us understand how users interact with the app, diagnose technical issues, and improve the user experience. LogRocket may record screen activity, user interactions, device information, and diagnostic data during your use of the Service. This data is processed by LogRocket, Inc. in accordance with their privacy policy. No payment or financial information is captured through session replay.
By using Kitchens, you consent to the collection and processing of session data by LogRocket as described in this section and in our Privacy Policy at kitchens-app.com/privacy-policy. You may request that session data associated with your account be deleted by contacting us at support@kitchens-app.com.

Kitchens has not reviewed all third-party websites linked to or from the Service and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by the Company. Use of any linked website is at the user's own risk.
Modifications
The Company may revise these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use Kitchens following any modifications, you agree to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms. We encourage you to check this page periodically for updates.
General
- We reserve the right to alter these Terms at any time.
- We reserve the right to deny access to the platform to anyone for any reason at any time.
- We reserve the right to force forfeiture of any username for any reason at any time.
- You may end your legal agreement with Kitchens by deleting your account and discontinuing your use of the platform.
- Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to these Terms and bear no responsibility for the Service or its content. If you downloaded Kitchens from the Apple App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof. Your use of the Service is also subject to Apple's and Google's applicable usage rules.
How to Delete Your Account
To permanently delete your Kitchens account:
- 1. Tap Kitchen in the bottom navigation.
- 2. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top right corner.
- 3. Tap Delete account.
- 4. Confirm your decision. Your account is removed right away. Log back in within 14 days to restore it. After 14 days, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
